IMPROVISATION CAFE (6 Weeks)


Improvisation helps you become a better actor! Learn about acting through improvisation. Create scenes, commercials, characters, scenes, play improvisation games and more. Learn the skills of improvisation. You will become part of an Improvisation troupe and take your skills on stage. At the end of the class you will have the opportunity to put on an Improv Show for a live audience.

CLASSES BEGIN THE WEEK OF MARCH 4th, 2012

(AGES 8 +) (16 Weeks)

Meet and create your favorite characters from Harry Potter!! Hands on movie training! Students will be in a movie written especially for them! They will learn how to read a script and how to be an actual movie actor! Movie will be shot on location especially chosen for their movie. Costumes and Scripts are included for this fabulous workshop Students will learn everything it takes to be in an actual movie! At the end of the workshop, students will see their finished movie at a Hollywood style movie premier at local movie theater! Includes 4 Movie Tickets!

This class will teach you everything you need to know about writing a screenplay. At the end of the workshop you will have a Hollywood style Screenplay! Students will be encouraged to film their actual screenplay for possible submission to film festivals! Taught by Industry Professionals!

This is 8 week course will teach you the basics of acting, improvisation and acting as a business. While learning how to perform commercials, scenes and monologues, you will also learn everything there is to know about auditioning, agents, casting directors, headshots and more! Taught by Industry Professionals

CLASSES BEGIN THE WEEK OF FEBRUARY 26th, 2012

8 Weeks (AGES 11 and up)

An eight- week workshop that will prepare actors with the tools needed to succeed in the theater or film industry. Students will work on monologues, scenes, commercials and learn what it takes to succeed in the industry. You will prepare for an actual audition! For the final class, students will have the opportunity to perform for OUR professional casting agents and talent managers. Taught by Industry Professionals.

CLASSES BEGIN the week of MARCH 1st, 2012

Ages 9 - UP (10 weeks)

We will be making an original Mystery Short Film - Ghosts, Vampires or something supernatural! The screenplay is written especially for the class by a screenwriter. Make an actual short film with an original screenplay written just for your class. Students are involved in the total process of making a movie from screenplay, acting and filming your movie on location. Hands on FILM Training! Movie will be submitted to Short Film Festivals around the country. Filmed and edited by professionals in the industry. Taught by Top Industry Professionals!
